Reclaimed Elm

Red elm is another one of those species that is simply unavailable from a regular lumber yard - you can only get it as a recycled wood. It exhibits a beautiful flame-like grain pattern with a slight iridescence depending on illumination.

Grey elm did not succumb to Dutch Elm Disease, unlike like its sister species and we encounter both when we salvage old barns. Recycled grey elm provides a clean look, with interesting contrast in the grain.
