Our reclaimed antique woods are available for much more than flooring and timbers. A custom mill, we can accommodate whatever woodworking needs you may have. And being woodworkers ourselves, we’re able to supply you with value-added and finished work.

Trim and Molding: Wainscoting, paneling, baseboards, casings, crowns and other moldings all contribute to the continuity of theme throughout a building. We are able to match period looks and create historically accurate profiles in authentic wood. When not found in our stock catalogs, more contemporary or purely custom profiles can be achieved through custom knife grinding. Please contact us for more details.

Vent Covers: Why use an off-the-shelf steel heating vent? Pioneer Millworks now offers genuine wood vents and registers to match your flooring, manufactured by All American Wood Register. Vents are available in any size and species we work with to complement your project, including cold air returns and custom sizes.

Finishes: The good news is that our flooring isn't difficult to finish. We recommend an oil finish on our rough-textured floors and the smoother lines work well with either a water-based poly or a hardening oil. One company we've had good luck with is Sutherland Wells - call Mary and she'll help you chose a finish to compliment your floor.

Boardstock: Reclaimed boards are sold as rough-sawn, straight line ripped stock, unless otherwise noted. We typically rip stock to 1" width increments. This provides you with straight, completely usable material that is easy to handle and tally. Random lengths are provided unless otherwise specified. Because we are continually finding new sources, we often have special reclaimed woods not on our regular menu, such as redwood, cypress, and others. Please ask us "what's new?"

Stairs: Treads and complete stairs are available. We can build the entire set of stairs and railings or provide you with the materials to use. We can also supply custom carved volutes and finials to match the material you plan to use.

Trusses: When you want the look of reclaimed or fresh sawn heavy timber in your home or commercial project, but you don't want the full dedication of a timber frame, our friends at Timber TrussWorks can supply you with the look you want.
