Pre Finished Reclaimed Flooring

For those of you who would prefer to forgo the hassles of the traditional method of installing a reclaimed wood floor, we are pleased to offer a prefininshed option on most of our flooring.

The prefinish process we use is perhaps the most modern in the industry and is performed on patented equipment in a state of the art facility. Great care is taken in milling the boards so that the finish can be applied uniformly, and an extra four-stage sanding process ensures a smooth surface.

The actual finish is a seven stage process which uses extremely hard resins. How hard? Well, so hard that normal sandpaper can’t be used on the production line, which admittedly is a drawback should you ever feel the need to refinish your floor. In order to ensure durability and long service life, we use about 25% more resins than conventional prefinished flooring.
